How it's made

Each piece of jewelry is a labor of love, carefully crafted by Jeanette with a deep respect for the nature of Northcape.

She personally gathers all the wildflowers used in her designs, collecting them during summer hikes in the Northcape region.

Preserving their natural beauty requires skill—each flower must be carefully cut, pressed, and dried. A process that can take several weeks to make sure to that each flower retains its vibrant colors and shape.

Once dried, the flowers are placed on sterling silver or gold-plated settings and set with epoxy resin.

The resin, which hardens into a durable plastic, is poured in three separate layers. Each layer requiring over 24 hours to fully cure, ensuring that the flowers are preserved beautifully and securely.

The process is both time-consuming and delicate, but it allows Jeanette to create one-of-a-kind jewelry that captures the spirit of the North, in a timeless piece of nature that you can carry with you.
